Shiva Chidara
Since March 2020, Shiva has served as UAIR’s Data Engineering Lead and oversees the Data Engineering Team in supporting UAIR Leadership and the University’s Senior leadership team’s projects and initiatives. Shiva leads the Data Engineering team in designing and developing ETL Workflows to extract data from multiple internal and external sources. Core responsibilities include data analysis, data modeling, advanced SQL, scripting, performance tuning, API development, and source system upgrades.
Shiva has over 11 years of experience in the field by way of various positions such as ETL Consultant, ETL Developer, Senior ETL Developer and Data Engineering Team Lead. His education credentials include a master’s in electrical engineering, a bachelor’s in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and is an IBM Certified Solution Developer InfoSphere DataStage v8.0
