Ravneet Chadha is officially the Executive Director of University Analytics & Institutional Research, as of December 30, 2019.

Ravneet has been at the University of Arizona for 15 years and has worked on business intelligence and analytics since 2009. Since January 2019, he has been the Interim Executive Director of UAIR, when he began leading the organization through the changes needed as UAIR develops greater institutional priority.

Expanding the staff to 40 and creating the Customer Experience & Support team within UAIR were his first steps in helping stakeholders across the institution understand the data available to them. With UAIR assistance, University colleges and departments can increasingly utilize data to inform their decision making and help them ask the right questions around the larger strategic issues.

The search committee was chaired by Barbara Bryson, Associate Dean for Research and Academic Affairs with CAPLA, and they conducted a rigorous, competitive process.

"After conducting a national search for the Executive Director of University Analytics and Institutional Research (UAIR), I am pleased to announce that Ravneet Chadha was selected as the new Executive Director, effective Monday, December 30, 2019. Ravneet has done an exceptional job leading UAIR as the Interim Executive Director over the past year, so I’m excited to continue to work with him going forward.

The candidates in the finalist pool were very talented and feedback from campus stakeholders was overwhelmingly positive. I want to thank the Search Committee members for their service to the university, including: Javi Escobar, Jim Florian, Paulo Goes, Katie Van Renterghem, Nicole Salazar, Kasey Urquidez, and Darcy Van Patten. I also want to thank Barbara Bryson and Marisela Celaya in particular for leading this search and for supporting it so well."
