Data Management is a continuous process focused on the maintenance, storage, organization, and distribution of an institution’s data. Data management practices exist at every stage of the data lifecycle, from beginning to end. Implementing these practices allow an organization to create standard procedures and effective data management systems that provide invaluable data resources to an institution.

As the facilitator of the University of Arizona’s Enterprise Data Warehouse, UAIR prioritizes the implementation and execution of each of the twelve common data management practices.
