The purpose of this project was to digitize the print backfiles (volumes 1-47, 1948-1994) and to customize digital backfiles (volumes 48-, 1995-) of the Journal of Range Management (JRM), and make them available electronically via the World Wide Web (WWW). The Society for Range Management (SRM) has agreed to allow the UA Libraries to add additional volumes of the journal (now called Rangeland Ecology & Management (REM)) to the Archives, maintaining a three-year window from the current year.

The Journal of Range Management Archives digitization project was funded in part by USDA ARS Cooperative Agreement monies made available through the National Agricultural Library.
