Description:
Abyssinian banana at water edge - high forest in back. The forest along stream becomes more and more prominent and finally - a high forest type, great tall white trunk trees and stream and mt. with Musa abyssinica everywhere. Agriculture along here is largely banana, sweet potato, and tall hardy [?] pea so common in the Congo. [Shantz travel journal, May 3, 1920]
