Description:
At K 652 we cross the Kalule nord. A deep densely wooded canon - with dense thickets of bamboo - trees and vines. This river - begins to look decidedly tropical but the same trees. Brachystegia, Pterocarpus, Acacia etc seem to persist. [Shantz travel journal, Jan. 11, 1920]
