Small orange colored fruit

Contributor:

Description:
A small orange colored fruit, 1 inch in diameter, with a single stone in the center - pulp rather hard and astringent, a thin juicy pulp adheres to the seed - but is not especially palatable. This fruit is probably not used by the natives. A rather attractive tree - and bears an enormous crop of fruit - not abundant. I have seen only two trees - one here and one half way to Sakania.
