Shows a native village in the background with trees still standing - they are cut down in the foreground. Typical of the whole section. Ant hill at the left. A hill at the opposite side is covered with the same type of tree, although the rocks outcrop prominently. [Shantz travel journal, Dec. 18, 1919]
