A large handsome broad leaf tree - Anacardium occidentale - now in flower and young fruits [sketch of form]. The tree which when ripe is responsible for a complete stoppage of Kaffir labor. They are all intoxicated as long as its fruit can be secured. [Shantz travel journal, Oct. 21-27, 1919]
