Description:
A large light colored pumpkin - side and blossom end view ... used for stock and also one of chief vegetables of this section - we have had this 1/2 the meals. Usually just boiled - they never have fire here! Pumpkin about 18 inches in diameter. It is a well known variety - but has been grown on Mr. Holmes' ranch (farm) for some years.
