Description:
Panorama - the town of St. Vincent and the bay. Barren hills & occasional mesquite (acacia) and Rumex, Mesembryanthemum. Shows city and shipping. This was taken with a mob of children and women around. Terribly desert island. Apparently the north face of St. Antonio catches all rain and leaves south face and St. Vincent all but absolute desert. [Shantz travel journal, July 27, 1919]
